brighter days ahead

I thought it prudent to follow up on my last release concerning racism in SL because I see brighter days ahead, and am glad to see I'm just one of many who have decided to step up and fight back. A year back I had started hearing rumors of racism infiltrating our humble digital home, and remembered thinking, it must not be that bad sense I had yet to come across it.

Well, my recent experience at Waterhead had proven that rumor by 10 fold. In the last release I had touched on the possibility of harboring racist because I had been banned so quickly for dishing out a return hate-red towards the folks in question. Maybe I was hasty in making that determination, because the next time it started up again, I was smart enough to take my own advice and not get baited into giving content to get banned with in the first place. I instead, actually utilized the AR (Abuse Reports) system this time, and with-in a half hour, racist no-more!

It did arise a few more times, but seems to be dramatically decreasing, especially because the AR system is indeed working, and is being utilized. So, hat's off to the AR folks and SL for helping to keep our global community clean.
